  • Account & contact details: name, email address, phone number, password or login credentials (if you create an account).
  • Vehicle details: vehicle make, model, year, registration number and any notes you provide about the condition of your vehicle.
  • Booking information: service type (wash, detailing, repair, inspection), preferred date and time, location, and order history.
  • Location data (optional): if you grant location permission, we may use your approximate or precise location to suggest nearby branches or enable pick‑up and drop‑off services.
  • Payment information: limited payment details processed through secure third‑party payment providers (we do not store full card numbers in the app).
  • Usage and device data: app version, device model, operating system, language, crash logs, and analytics data to understand how the app is used and to improve performance.
  • Support communications: messages, emails, or in‑app support requests that you send to our team.
2. How we use your information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • To create and manage your AutoCare account and profile.
  • To process bookings, confirm appointments, and provide the services you request.
  • To send transactional communications such as booking confirmations, reminders, invoices, and important service updates.
  • To provide customer support and respond to your questions or feedback.
  • To improve, troubleshoot, and personalize the app and website, including through analytics and performance monitoring.
  • To send optional marketing messages or promotions about our services, only where permitted by law and with the ability to opt out at any time.

3. Mobile permissions

Depending on your device and how you use the app, we may request access to certain permissions:

  • Location: to find nearby service centers and enable pick‑up and drop‑off or on‑site services. You can disable this at any time in your device settings.
  • Notifications: to send booking confirmations, reminders, and important updates about your service. You can control notification settings from your device.
  • Camera / Photos (if used): to allow you to upload images of your vehicle or damage for assessment. Access is only used when you choose to upload a photo.
4. Third‑party services and SDKs

To support core functionality of the app, we may use trusted third‑party services, for example:

  • Payment gateways to securely process payments.
  • Analytics and crash‑reporting tools (such as Firebase/Google Analytics) to understand app performance and stability.
  • Messaging or notification services for push notifications and in‑app messages.

These third parties process data on our behalf under appropriate data protection and confidentiality agreements. We do not sell your personal data to any third party.

5. Data retention

We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to provide our services and for legitimate business purposes, such as maintaining service records, complying with legal obligations, resolving disputes, and enforcing our agreements.
